Health and happiness are the key foundations for a good and prosperous life. However, in today’s fast paced world with realities like relationships, career, money, parenting, schools, in-laws, cut throat competition-being happy is always postponed for the ‘future’.
But sadly when health doesn’t support our requirements and fatigue takes over, then striking that right balance between physical and emotional needs looks very important. So, how about giving a simple and easy transformation to your life? With some simple changes in your diet and exercise pattern, you would once more feel more energetic and have a positive attitude towards things. Here are some health tips for women that will not take much time, however with these health tips you can see a yourself much more healthy and in control of your life.

Take one afternoon ‘off’ every two weeks.
Whether you are working or a stay at home mom or wife, taking time out for yourself seems next to impossible. Most of the times there is somebody to give you a guilt trip as well. Even waking up a bit late on weekend is often accompanied by a long list of chores to complete. However, make yourself understand that taking a few hours off for yourself isn’t a selfish move. It’s a very important investment to keep your sanity and peace of mind in place. So, one of the good health tips is to give yourself a break once every fortnight. This becomes more important with summers as we tend to get drained out much faster. So, as a part of summer health tips, make your afternoons only for lazing out.

Health and Fitness Tips

This health tip for women is about health and fitness. Believe it or not, relaxing can do more than fitness and exercise. Relax on a working weekday or on a weekend if you are stuck with an office routine. Keep one afternoon completely for yourself. If you have a kid, then pre-fix a relative, neighbor or friend to take care of the child. Order a meal in for dinner instead of cooking a dinner. Make this time completely non-negotiable. Let your husband, child or parent adjust their schedule around your needs, just for this one day.  Remember this time is for you, and not for completing pending chores. So do whatever you want like watching a movie, browsing a gallery, getting a pedicure or simply sleeping and relaxing. This can also act as a health fitness tip.

Don’t make excuses and break the routine. Remember, this is for your own good only. The more hectic your life, the more urgent the need for this personal time. Make this a priority and completely immovable in your calendar. Like you don’t postpone your kid’s doctor appointments, don’t postpone this as well.

Remember, as a woman it is important that we remain fit, otherwise we will not be able to take care of our family. Just practice these health tips for women, club it with diet and exercise and smile yourself to a healthier you.
