One of the most common things that we do online while browsing is bookmark and save the websites that we like and want to revisit in our favorite folder. But then the link is trapped on your PC. But, wait there is a easier way of putting everything you want like your home tips to bedroom décor right online and that’s with Pinterest!
Pinterest is a website that allows you to bookmark your favorite sites online. You need to create an account on Pinterest and then simply ‘pin’ everything you want on this website. Additionally, it also allows you to follow your friends on Pinterest and “repin” things that you have already pinned. You can also browse through live feed items that are pinned by other users on the website.
How to get started?
The very first thing that you will require to do is to create a Pinterest account. You will have to go to the Pinterest website and request for an invite as there is a waiting list ladies! Or if you have friends who are already enjoying the site then ask them to send you an invite.
Once you have cleared the ‘getting in’ process, what you would need is the “Pin it” button installed on your browser toolbar. With this button you can pin your favorite websites online. Wondering how to install it? Well, it is very simple. When you are logged in your Pinterest account, check the upper right hand corner and just move above “about” and click on the “pin it button” and just follow the directions to drag the button to your toolbar. 
The other way of doing it is by simply copy and pasting links from the websites you like and Pinterest will search for photos from that page and they can be pinned. You can also upload photos from your PC.
What all can I pin?
This is the best part. You can pin just about anything you want. Users use Pinterest for different things, right from saving recipes to great pieces of information that they came across to your favorite shopping sites.
As you start pinning you can create “boards” that are very similar to folders that we create on our PC and push your favorites accordingly. So, don’t wait any longer and start pinning.
