In all of our lives there are times when we are completely stressed out and find it very difficult to cope with situation like family problems or work stress. All you really feel like is to walk away from everything and every responsibility. However, since packing our bags or running away is generally not an option in front of us, let’s find different ways to cope with the stress, especially when you need to escape but can’t.
Try Yoga or Meditation
When we are stressed the idea of going to yoga or meditation class may not sound so appealing, but it’s worth the try.
Not only will it boost your health, helping in stress reduction but will also provide you a time in the entire day when no one will bother you.
Give Yourself Time
If you are one of those women who have a full time job, small kids and a house to look after, then time for yourself seems a luxury that you can’t afford. The need for that break or the wish to escape happens too often then. So, it’s very important to schedule some ‘me’ time. We all need it so no need to feel guilty. Get someone to watch the kids and do whatever makes you happy. It can be anything like reading a book or going to the parlor for a relaxing facial.
Phone Off
It’s quite surprising how we feel that our worlds will stop if our cell phones are switched off.
We must be available to anyone who needs to speak to us. But it isn’t true. Definitely, there is time when you need to be contacted, but when that is not the case, just hit the off button. Enjoy some quiet time, knowing that you will not be interrupted.

Are you scared about voicing your stress. Most of the people around you see you like a lucky person with a good job, a nice home and healthy kids. But with all these positive aspects also there can be stress. Find someone who understands your feelings and talk it out. It is a big stress reliever.
Say ‘I need Help’
Most of us try to do everything on our own or think that there is no one who can share the burden. But if you are not able to cope tell someone. Look for practical help if you have a career and find different ways to ease out the situation. There are lots of options available; however people don’t know you need assistance.
Weekend Getaway
No matter what’s your situation, if you feel absolute necessity to escape then it’s best to take a weekend break. Go to some place that can give you the escape you are looking for. It’s worth the effort and it’s sure to ease out the stress.
