With just a few yoga poses and simple breathing techniques, you can kick out stress and improve your energy levels and flush out all toxins out of your body.

Empty Coat Sleeves
This yoga posture is not going to take you more than 5 minutes. To start with stand with your feet a little wider than hip width apart. Now let your arms hang loosely at your sides. Start twisting your body from side to side, letting your arms swing and then gently wrap them around yourself. Slowly and steadily, increase your intensity so that as you twist, your right hand slaps your left shoulder and your left hand hits your right shoulder. While doing this exercise inhale deeply through your nose and exhale deeply through your mouth, making a ‘hah’ sound. Let this fall into a momentum and rhythm and do it for 2-4 minutes.

This simply yoga exercise helps you in more than one way. Spinal twisting loosens up your back and shoulders and eases stress in the lumbar region. It also helps in increasing blood flow and delivers oxygen to the cells, giving your body and extra shot of energy.

The spinal twist also gives the liver, kidneys and pancreas and our body’s largest lymph gland a squeeze that helps in digestion and flushing out toxins from our body.
